Few things make a room more luxurious than beautiful curtains. It’s the old world art of cutting fabric by hand, pressing, and hand-stitching curtains that yields a much finer result than anything found ready made.

Over the past twenty plus years, from hand weaver to curtain workroom to interior designer and finally back to my love of the workroom, I’ve worked closely with private clients and professional designers to create custom designs and deliver impeccably finished window treatments.

Some rooms call for crisp Roman blinds, other spaces call for full-length curtains and whether made from silk, linen, velvet or cotton, I tailor any fabric to a client’s specific needs.

My artisanship started on a farm in upstate New York hand weaving luxury wool fabrics and designing women’s outerwear.  But like most farm boys with a sense for design, I quickly left for the Big City and found my niche as a craftsman in the world of interiors.

My inspiration comes from years of European travel, my love of architecture and Mother Nature.  I continue this craftsmanship from my studio in Santa Barbara, CA.
